Compose deploy fails when required database variables are missing

Why it happens
The Compose file requires POSTGRES_DATABASE and POSTGRES_USER, but no environment source was loaded during deployment. Compose stops while interpolating the database and server settings, before containers can start. The generated password does not replace these required variables.
