Why it happens
The Dockerfile build progressed through dependency restore and image extraction, then the build service disconnected with an EOF. This usually indicates a Docker/containerd or host-side interruption, rather than a Dockerfile syntax error. Cleanup also reported leftover overlay filesystem files, suggesting the nested container runtime did not shut down cleanly.
