Vite build fails because Git is missing

Why it happens
The Vite configuration runs git rev-parse --short HEAD during the build. The build container does not have the git executable, so the config hook exits with status 127 before the app can be built. The missing package-lock.json message is separate; this project uses pnpm and the build continues past it.
